God wants us to be knowledgeable about His ways, Kingdom, our places in The Kingdom and how to live godly lives. This is proven by Yeshua's time on earth as an example of how we're to live and also because His Holy Spirit was given to be with us and work through us to perform His Word and will.
Communing with The Godhead by reading The Holy Scriptures is the primary way we receive revelation (knowledge). I'm an avid Bible reader. I don't read it as much as some and not as much as I want, but I do it read it regularly and consistently. Not just verses of the day or week, but chapters and books at a time, and I receive much revelation in every chapter.
If you've seen pictures I've posted of my Bibles in the past you've seen how there's writing all over the margins of many, many pages. That's in addition to what I record in my journal as I read and the notes for future teachings, books, blog posts and videos I have listed in my planner (see pic above).
I get tons of revelation every time I sit down to read The Word. How about you? Is The Word alive for you? Does one of Them sit with you as you read and whisper the secrets and mysteries contained? They do it for me, so the same can be true for you (Romans 10:34) if you want that. Truly. You can sit down for 15 minutes of Bible reading and get up with a testimony of a divine encounter and a list of life-changing revelations to use for ministry or to create products to submit to the marketplace. I'm a witness.
In Yeshua's Name and authority I release my anointing for abundant revelation knowledge to you.
I saw this commercial on TV a few weeks back and it caught my spiritual attention. If you haven't watched it in its entirety, do that before continuing with the post.
First, there's a woman giving testimony that the stone from Yeshua's tomb in the necklace made her feel closer to Him. There's nothing wrong with the stone or the necklace as long as it doesn't become an idol. But in truth, the only way to feel close to The Lord is to be close to Him by relationship. You can have as many necklaces and stones as you want, enough to fill 50 jewelry boxes, but if you're not reading The Written Word, praying and listening and being transformed from glory to glory by seeking His Kingdom and serving Him and others, you are not close to God, Yeshua or Holy Spirit.
Second, the middle section claims to represent the exact spot where Jesus was born. What does that even mean? Of all the places in The Word where God instructed altars to be built to Himself, as far as I know - and I haven't studied the Hebraic teachings/writings on His birth in fullness, yet - in The Holy Scriptures He never instructed one to be built for remembrance at Jesus' birthplace. Can we honor His birthplace? Yes. And one important way to do that is to intercede faithfully for The Nation of Israel and its people worldwide.
Third, they have the boldness to say, "There's no greater gift you can give than a symbol of your love for Jesus Christ." Well, that contradicts The Logos because the greatest gift we can ever give is that of introducing someone to The Savior Himself so that they can be delivered from sin, death and hell. I know they just want to sell things and they've chosen their words specifically. This calls our attention to how important our ear and eye gates are, and how important discernment and knowing The Word and The Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) personally is to believers.
Fourth, they note that it's honored by The Vatican. Well, a lot of the Catholic religion is about idols, relics, superstition and works, so as a believer in The Bible, you have to take that with a grain of salt ... and light.
But the thing that really made my eyes pop was the angel brooch special gift. I couldn't find the full commercial on YouTube, but they make the claim that the angel brooch draws angels to you. That is a direct contradiction of The Written Word. Psalm 103:20 tells us that God's mighty angels only listen to and move at The Words of God, spoken or written. So if that brooch pulls anything to its wearers what they're pulling are not angels of Yahweh.
I'm not meaning to attack The Nativity Stones Cross jewelry or its makers. My goal as a teacher of The Word is to help believers confirm what's available to us in the world with The Word.
If you've been growing spiritually and increasing in the revelation of Jesus Christ, I know you've experienced some tests and trials. Although these seasons are often uncomfortable, at the least, and downright painful at most, they produce solid faith that perseveres and endures (James 1:3).
Here are three things to help you focus during trying seasons:
I decree today that your current tests and trials are moving you in the direction of your Kingdom Path and destiny. I bless you in The Name and authority of Jesus Christ.
